Along the way you taste authentic food & drink while gaining a deeper understanding of French food and culture.

Refunds are not permitted because your space is being guaranteed for that tour & walk. This includes late arrivals and no shows. Tours start promptly, and it is your responsibility to be on time at the correct location a few minutes early, especially if you are not familiar with Paris. For rescheduling a walk, at least seven days notice is needed and at no guarantee that there will be space available.
Should I Eat Before or After the Tour?
Everyone should eat a light breakfast or lunch before a Paris Kitchen food tour. Food & wine tastings during the walk are timed specifically not to interfere with your regular dining schedule.
Is This Strictly an Eating & Drinking & Shopping Tour?
The walks provide an opportunity to eat, drink and shop for various French foods but first and foremost are informative cultural experiences created so that you come away with a deeper understanding of France’s food, culture and customs.
Are the Paris Kitchen Food Walks Suitable if I Have Dietary Restrictions or Food Allergies?
Since our walks include food and cultural information you are not obligated to eat anything you are not comfortable with i.e. vegetarians, vegans or diabetics. For instance, if you are allergic to dairy you would enjoy learning information about France’s beautiful cheeses on location in a shop instead of the sit down cheese and wine pairing.
What about inclement weather? What do I wear?
All tours take place rain, shine and snow. Check the weather conditions on www.weather.com and dress appropriately.. i.e. Umbrellas and wellies if there is a chance of rain or snow and hats and sunblock for strong sun.
Do I peed to be physically fit?
The Paris Kitchen Walks are 3 hours long, during which time we will be standing or walking at a casual pace. Rest stops are few and far in between on busy Paris streets. Unfortunately, wheelchairs are not practical on busy city streets and in the very small shops that we visit. Let me know in advance if you have any concerns.
Are the Paris Kitchen Food Walks Suitable for Children?
Each walking tour was created specifically for adults interested in food and culture and who want to learn more about France and its food. Since children have a limited attention span and we do a lot of standing, a 3-hour walking tour is not suitable for children.
