Patrick Roger’s Latest Chocolate Sculpture Stops Traffic

Master chocolate maker Patrick Roger has done it again, this time stopping traffic on the busy boulevard St. Germain with a forklift, his entire team & family and a huge padded truck to install his latest creation – taking off the entire windowed facade to jusss-t barely fit this 700 kilo chocolate ape in the front windows.

Patrick is a passionate advocate for nature and animals – this sculpture is part of an awareness campaign and fundraiser to help homeless animals. Just across from the giant ape is another sculpture but there is an element of surprise, the piece is called, “Three faces, one tail.” Stop by to see this big guy and to guess what the other sculpture is.

Patrick Roger, 108 Boulevard St Germain, 6th arr, M° Odeon, Open everyday from 10-7:30pm.
