Guy Savoy is one of the most respected chefs in the world – and one of my dearest friends. Bless his heart, the 3-Michelin starred man known for his outrageously sinful artichoke soup had to break the news to this Southern gal over twenty years ago that an artichoke wasn’t a dip. Gasp.
